Each month we will spotlight the School/District of the Month — Congratulations Parlier Unified school district in the Fresno region of California for being the Mindsets selected School/District for January 2020! Parlier is preparing to launch Mindsets across its junior high school network and we can’t wait to see your students take their whole self in learning — their opinions, their problem solving and reasoning skills — to new heights!

Kicking off with Diligent Deductions, students will be exploring careers and the elements of a monthly budget and salary to develop their math skill set. They will explore how taxes work and figure out — can I — and how can I — afford a new car now that I have earned a pay rise?
